Brown next on the list of prospects from Lancaster
Lancaster (Texas) High School has always been known for producing its share of quality defenders, but the program has literally outdone itself in recent years. Cornerback Demontre Hurst signed with Oklahoma in Feb. 2009 and is already seeing the field for the Sooners. Senior safety Quentin Hayes is committed to the Sooners and senior cornerback Tyler Stephenson is headed to Baylor.
Junior linebacker Trey Brown appears to be the next in line at the school to start garnering Division I offers. Brown has played all three linebacker positions in the past, although recently he has started seeing more time at the middle linebacker position.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Brown is gaining interest from Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oregon and Oklahoma State.
