For seemingly the longest time, tight end Eric MacLain from Jack Britt High in Fayetteville, N.C., had been a Tennessee verbal commitment. That changed Feb. 17 however when MacLain backed out partly because of a lack of communication with the new coaching staff in Knoxville.
