Name:Malcolm Mitchell Height: 6-foot-1 Weight: 187 pounds Position: Cornerback Overview: Dickson is one of the nation's top defensive prospects. Currently ranked a four-star player, he is among the top 10 players in talent rich Georgia. He projects as a defensive end or outside linebacker in college. Physically, Dickson is very similar to Tide star Courtney Upshaw. The Contenders: Despite having over 20 offers the race for Dickson's signature has been a two team race for most of the recruiting process between Alabama and Georgia. Auburn Florida and FSU were among his many offers. The Prediction: Alabama seemed to have the inside edge early on with Georgia making a full-court push during the season with the lure of a "dream team" recruiting class in Georgia. While the Bulldogs did a good job of selling heart the Tide did an equally good job of selling playing opporunity and change to win a national title. In addition, Alabama was the first school to offer Dickson. A tough hard nose battle, but at the end of the day Alabama wins a nail-biter.
