Lewisville (Texas) Hebron 2014 safety prospect, Jamal Adams has been talked about since his freshman year when he first made an appearance for the Hawks varsity. Despite dealing with a shoulder injury during his freshman and sophomore year - Adams has gotten better and better. The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound prospect is a hot commodity on the recruiting scene already, even though he has two years of high school left.
Adams was a standout performer at the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge this summer and has been busy taking visits to multiple schools including Alabama and Texas. Recently the Hebron product made the short trip from Lewisville to Norman, Okla. to visit the Sooners with his father, George Adams, who played at Kentucky as well as in the NFL.
"The recruiting coordinator, he took us on the practice field and we watched a little bit of the practice," Adams stated. "We saw what they did and what not. Then the players came up to me and made me feel at home. It was real cool man."
