Position recruiting: WR
Don't hassle the Huff. After this season the Ducks lose him to graduation, plus steady Daryle Hawkins also. They're okay in the short term with seven young receivers on the roster, so the goal has to be to restock the talent pool with two recruits from the 2014 class with good speed, hands and the toughness to accept the Oregon way and block.
Oregon hasn't had a 1,000-yard receiver since Jeff Maehl left in 2010. Even though the Ducks spread the football around and get it done offensively without one, the prospect of having their own Amari Cooper or Marqise Lee, a receiver opponents have to game plan for, is a tempting one. Another factor in receiver recruiting is that versatile running back/slot receiver De'Anthony Thomas is now a junior and draft eligible, so there's also the daunting challenge of filling his scholarship as well.
