K-State comes up short against Texas

GoPowercat.com All Kansas State needed to knock off No. 7 Texas on Wednesday night was one big shot down the stretch. The Wildcats never got it. K-State (14-10, 5-8) had a number of opportunities to hand the Longhorns (23-4, 11-2) their second straight Big 12 Conference loss but simply failed to do so. What could have been a thrilling victory ended as just the latest in an endless line of close defeats for the Wildcats, who fell 65-64 at Bramlage Coliseum.
