Blair Bines: A bona fide Linebacker

ScarletNation.com It's difficult to think of a better name for a linebacker than Blair Bines. It seems almost natural for run-stuffing hits and head-ringing shots to be a major part of his game. "Some people told me I have a perfect linebacker name," Bines said. "I didn't really think of it like that, but I just go along with it." On top of his linebacker-esque name, Bines has always liked the contact that comes along with playing the position. "I started playing football in eighth grade, and that's the first position they stuck me at," said Bines. "I've always liked to hit people so they decided to keep me at linebacker, and it's paid off since then."
Even his style on offense pointed to a career on the defensive side of the ball.
