Combine award makes Kelley a top target

IrishIllustrated.com Last fall a tweaked back forced Paden Kelley to miss half of his Lake Travis High School team's undefeated regular season. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound tackle pound tackle from Austin, Texas said the injury left him feeling disappointed with his first year on the varsity squad.
"I had kind of a disappointing season because I tweaked my back," Kelley said. "We went undefeated through districts and lost in the playoffs to Hays."
Kelley said it was nerve-wracking to start on the varsity as just a sophomore. But, he didn't let his nerves get in the way of doing his part to help them team.
"I was very nervous when I heard I would be starting," he said.
