Talented lineman coming back from injury
The Texas A&M coaching staff has already gotten off to a fast start on recruiting offensive lineman for the class of 2009.
Lexington offensive lineman Michael Brown> committed to the Aggies a few weeks ago and the Aggies hosted a number of top prospects at their Game Night camp this past weekend. They received another commitment from Jersey Village's Bobby Janisch and extended offers to other linemen including Klein Oak's Clint Naron.
One of the more interesting prospects at Game Night was Lewisville Hebron offensive lineman Joel Gray. The 6-foot-6, 286-pound Gray has run a 5.12-second 40-yard dash and started 12 games last year as a sophomore for a powerhouse Hebron program at left tackle, earning First-Team All-District honors.
However, Gray tore his ACL in spring practice and the injury required surgery shortly thereafter.
