Countdown to kickoff: Wednesday's practice report

TheWolfpacker.com The jump from the junior college ranks to the ACC isn't easy, as a trio of North Carolina State players has or is learning.
Defensive ends Littleton Wright and Antoine Holmes and offensive tackle Garrett Kline have all arrived from Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa., over the last three years.
Wright and Kline both spent their first years at NC State redshirting before being eligible to play last year as juniors. Wright saw action in eight games, but Kline did not play at all. Holmes is expected to make a more immediate impact after arriving in Raleigh last May.
