The departure of All-America point guard D.J. Augustin, the Texas Longhorns have been searching high and low for a true replacement at perhaps the most important position on the court. With the commitments of five-stars Avery Bradley and Jordan Hamilton, along with four-star wing Shawn Williams, in the 2008-09 recruiting class, the pieces appear to be in place for the Longhorns to make a serious run at a national championship beyond this season.
If there was final piece of the puzzle that needed to be added, it was at the point guard position and on Sunday night the Longhorns addressed their needs in a big way.
