You know, just because the OP's username is East Texas doesn't necessarily mean he NOW lives in East Texas. Maybe he is just from there. Maybe the hint about Gingerboy being an Ag also hints at where this occurred. I mean, doesn't Collie Station have malls, jewelry stores, sandwich shops and LJSs? So we know that this Texas town has a McAllister's, LJS, and a jewelry store, and probably in East Texas.
On the McAllister's page they have stores in several ET towns: Longview, Tyler, CS, and Texarkana.
There are also several LJS around Longview and Tyler as well as College Station.
So that should narrow the search down pretty good.
