Shannon Has a Lot to Learn about Oklahoma

Football is a copycat sport and with colleges around the country all possessing recruiting coordinators it's no surprise the role has found it's way into the high school game. At Dallas Skyline high school R.J. Bond is the man working the phones for the Raiders annual collection of division-one prospects, and while some debate the need for such a title, it was recently proven worthy.

In fact if not for Bond, Skyline safety Franklin Shannon would have had no idea about one of his recent offers.

"It was funny, I didn't even know about the offer," Shannon said. "I just know coach Bond came up to me and told me they offered me, it wasn't too long ago."
