Vaughters continues to evaluate the situation

As one of the premier linebackers in the country, James Vaughters had his pick of schools from coast to coast. Recently he was able to narrow down his list of offers to nine, but now the real decision making begins. For Vaughters it isn't going to be easy going forward, and he hopes to do all of his research.

The off-season is in full swing for Vaughters, and things are progressing well. Vaughters as always is looking to improve his game, but at the same time he also has an eye toward his recruitment.

"The off-season has been great," said Vaughters. "It's been a great mix of recruiting visits and off-season strength and conditioning. I've been working out a lot with teammates to get ready for a championship run this year. I think we have the players to do it. The biggest thing for me is working on my speed. It can only help me this year in high school, but everything I hear about D-1 football is how much faster the game is than in high school, so I want to be ready when the time comes."
