Busy spring for Tennessee quarterback

Decaturville, Tenn., quarterback Luke Ward has been a busy man over the last few weeks.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound signal caller has attended junior days at three universities and has to keep his active slate full by visiting several more schools for spring practice.

"Recruiting is going good and is starting to pick up more," Ward said. "I went to Illinois junior day and was at Mississippi State's junior day. I went to Alabama's junior day. It's picking up and I'm going to try to get down to Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville, Duke and back down to Mississippi State for spring practice."

Ward's first visit was to Tuscaloosa where he saw what the defending national champion Crimson Tide had to offer.

"It was great," Ward said. "I've been there quite often on the campus at Bama. There's definitely nothing bad to talk about so it went pretty good I guess."

Next, Ward's travels took him down to Starkville where he attended Mississippi State's initial junior day.
