Brown Displaying His Versatility

George Brown was a name that TarHeelIllustrated mentioned back in April, as North Carolina had offered the 2015 TE/OL a scholarship.

Now, THI has been able to catch up with the young, dominant sophomore, as his recruitment seems to be increasing nationwide.

As of right now, Brown has received 25 offers from multiple schools around the nation.

The Ohio native have received offers from schools such as Baylor, Boston College, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan St., Syracuse, UCLA, West Virginia, and quite a few more schools after that.

Brown said that all of them are really recruiting him hard, but North Carolina is one that has been in constant contact with him. Coach Anderson and Brown have been in contact quite a few times recently.

When asked about when he plans on making a visit to North Carolina, Brown said that he has been trying to set up a date to visit, as he wants to go and see UNC, while getting a feel for the team and all of the coaches.

Other than that, Brown doesn't have to much planned, with the only other planned visits will be to Florida and Florida State during the weekend of May 30. Brown will also be attending a camp in Miami that weekend.

Brown has been developing and growing into his body and frame, as he is 6'6" and 253 pounds coming out of his sophomore season.

Currently on Rivals, Brown is listed as a tight end, but with his development and constant growth, Brown has been looked at not only as a tight end, but also as a defensive end or offensive tackle, according to Brown.

With such versatility, there is no wonder why this sophomore has been getting quite a few more looks from schools around the nation.

As mentioned in last month's article, Brown has repeated that distance is not a factor in his recruitment.

Now North Carolina will look to get him down to Chapel Hill as soon as possible for a visit.
