Sooners Hosted Bevy of Talent Last Weekend

Though much was made of Oklahoma's class of 2014 official visitors John Bonney and eventual commitment Mark Andrews there was a key 2015 guest who was in Norman on Friday as well - Sooners linebacker offer Cameron Townsend.

The class of 2015 prospect from Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point drove up to Norman with his parents to check out Oklahoma's facilities and get a further feel for the Sooners coaching staff and notably linebackers coach, and his area's lead recruiter, Tim Kish.

Though Townsend wasn't the only prospect there, the trio was also joined by the likes of Sooners quarterback commitment Justice Hansen, he says the organization of the visit was highly impressive.

"The visit was real good, I was impressed by how organized it was. I wasn't the only guy there. There were a few other guys there. I got to see all of their facilities, their weight room, the stadium, the locker room and I got to see the players come in and out of the locker room and talk with a few of them that I knew. I got to see the academic center, my whole time there I had a really good time," Townsend said.
