Wilson takes honor, Bumpus goes big

With the Oklahoma coaches having the week off, it was a good weekend for their roster of commitments to come through in a big way. And as only two of the Sooner commits went home with losses, and one big performance followed another it's safe to say the future Norman residents came through.

The most explosive play of the night would have to go to the Sooners most recent commitment, three-star wide receiver Corey Wilson. The 6-foot, 184-pound Wilson in a huge district 6-5A match-up returned Lewisville Hebron's first kickoff 100 yards for an electrifying touchdown.

"Wilson bolted down the right sideline and cut toward the middle of the field at about the 40-yard line to make the last Hebron player miss before strolling to the end zone," according to Dallas Morning News writer Brandon George.

Wilson nearly duplicated the feat taking a third quarter kickoff 97 yards for another touchdown, but the points were erased off the board after a somewhat unnecessary holding call was granted to Hebron.
