Karam keeping busy with summer visits

In this day and age of early football recruiting, it doesn't come as a surprise to see a prospect that has not yet entered his junior year of high school receiving some attention from colleges. However, it is rare to get the amount of attention that one player from the class of 2009 has received.

Friendswood (TX) quarterback Jacob Karam has been a hot topic in recruiting circles lately as he positions himself at or near the top of the deepest crop of signal-callers that the state of Texas had produced in a long time.

Though just sixteen years old, Karam received his first verbal scholarship offer back in early May.
