Gray gives visit to UT high marks

Things did not go well for the Texas Longhorns on the field this week, with the team falling at home in an upset to Kansas State, but it wasn't all gloom and doom for the Texas program.

The Longhorns did host a handful of recruits for the game on unofficial visits, including top 2009 offensive tackle Joel Gray, and the Lewisville Hebron blue-chip said he liked what he saw on the trip.

The 6-foot-6, 288-pound Gray, who is ranked No. 32 on the current Lone Star Recruiting list, has already picked up an offer from Texas Tech, and several other programs from around the country have been in contact.
