Kansas lands two big ones in Texas

The Kansas coaching staff is flat-out taking care of business in the state of Texas. Prior to today, four of the seven committed players resided from the Lone star state. However, that number just increased by two. The Jayhawks had a highly regarded quarterback and safety on campus earlier today, and both gave the nod to Mark Mangino and KU.

It didn't take long for Christian Matthews, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound dual-threat quarterback and Dexter Linton, the 6-foot-0, 185-pound safety to make decisions about their future.
