marijuana. The players defensive back Edorian McCullough, linebacker Aaron Harris, running back Selvin Young and defensive tackle Larry Dibbles were arrested by the Brazos Valley Task Force. Officials at the jail said that all four players were later released and the report showed that less than two ounces of marijuana was found, making the possible charge a class B misdemeanor should official charges be filed on any of the four individuals.
According to Leslie Allen of the Madison County District Attorneys office, an arrest report has yet to be filed, therefore charges on any of the four players are still pending.
"At this point there have been no formal charges filed. We have not filed anything with the courts, Allen confirmed. We don't have a copy of the arrest report yet. Until the prosecutor makes a decision on how he's going to handle the case and gets all the information together, we won't be releasing any information on the case.
The prosecutor is not in today so we wont do anything today, Allen said.
Officials with the Brazos Valley Task Force said an arrest report is usually filed within 10 days but it must first be approved before it will be submitted to the district attorneys office.
All four players are entering their sophomore seasons with the Longhorn program and all saw playing time as true freshmen. Further details on the arrest are unavailable.
