Yoakum athlete Jordan Moore plans to give one fan base an early Christmas present on Saturday night. Moore, a 2018 prospect out of Yoakum, plans to commit on Christmas Eve, and he has narrowed his choices down to Texas, Texas A&M and Ohio State.

The 6-1, 180-pound Moore still has more than 13 months until he'll actually sign a letter of intent, once he makes up his mind, he's not planning on changing.

"I'm not going to be the type where I decommit," Moore said. "The school I commit to, it's going to be the school I have been wanting to go to forever. I'm excited about it."

Moore holds more than 20 offers and has been proactive in his recruitment over the last year, taking visits to a number of campuses. Once his decision is official, he said he plans on going all-in with his commitment.

"It's going to be a relief. It's going to be a huge relief. I'm not saying I'm tired about recruiting process or anything - it hasn't been that stressful and I'm going to keep relationships with people, but I'm not going to have to worry about calling 25 people every night," Moore said. "The school I commit to, I'm going to give it 100 percent, 110 percent of me actually."

Moore and his family spoke about his options on Wednesday night, and he was hoping for some final clarity in those discussions. All three programs on his final list offer a lot of positives, he said, and his family is supportive of whatever decision he makes.

"They haven't talked about it at all. They've just been chilling. They just want the best for me," Moore said. "They're happy with whatever I choose."

Most people have this one pegged for either Texas A&M or Texas, but Moore said not to pay too much attention to all the declarations from people who know where he's heading.

"People are going to talk. They've been talking. Nobody really even knows right now where I'm going," Moore said. "It's really just a guessing game."

Moore's twin brother, Joshua Moore, is a highly-recruited wide receiver. Wherever Jordan chooses, he said he'll work hard on getting his brother to join him.

"Wherever I commit to, I'm going to make sure he's most likely there," Moore said. "I'll be in his ear every day, even at the dinner table."

The following are Moore's comments on what stands out about his three favorites:

Texas - "I would say everything really. It's felt like home up there. The coaches are really cool, players are really cool. I feel like some good things are about to happen at Texas."

Texas A&M - "It's just beautiful down there. Everything about it is great. I don't know who wouldn't want to play in College Station, really? It's just like DKR - a great atmosphere like no other really."

Ohio State - "Down there, it's just love. It's always so fun down there. I have a lot of friends that are committed there. They win, that's the most important thing. They win a lot."
