For the better part of the recruiting process, North Mesquite (Texas) High cornerback Tarell Brown has listed Texas and Florida State as his heavy leaders in the recruiting process.
After this weekend, you can now add a third team to his list of favorites.
"I had a nice time," Brown said of his official visit to Texas A&M this weekend. "A&M definitely moved up my list. I got a chance to see the pride and tradition and it's put them on the map. I really didn't know how I would fit in down there, but I liked it a lot. It's a family atmosphere and a great environment."
So, did the visit to College Station put the Aggies on the same level as the Longhorns and Seminoles?
"Definitely," Brown said. "They are on equal footing. I'm still going to visit Texas and Florida State though."
The big impression made on Brown was obviously helped by the Aggies' huge win over Oklahoma.
"I definitely knew it was going to be a good game after seeing how focused the team was the day before the game," Brown said. 'I knew they would put on a good show and it was a great game."
