North Crowley tight end Ka'Morreun Pimpton has finished up his official visit and is on his way home. I was able to catch up with the Vandy commitment to get an update.

Pimpton, who has been talking to the UT staff for a while, said he enjoyed the visit, especially the opportunity to really get to know the entire Texas staff.

"For me, the highlight of the visit was getting to know the coaching staff. I didn’t get to really interact with them before. On this visit, I got to get to know them, interact with them, see how they are," Pimpton said. "That was good. They’re all great guys. Very genuine. They were all very happy for me to be there."

Up next, Pimpton said he'll take some time with his family and weigh the pros and cons of the three schools he's considering - Vanderbilt, Texas and LSU. He likely won't have a final decision until Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period."

The process will be just to put everything on paper, see what’s the best for me," Pimpton said.

Is there one school out of the three that has an advantage at this point?"

More or less, all three schools have a great argument. I'm just trying to weigh all my options," Pimpton said.
