Two players suspended for Alamo Bowl

Texas junior quarterback Case McCoy and junior linebacker Jordan Hicks have been suspended for the Alamo Bowl for breaking team rules, multiple sources have confirmed to Orangebloods.com.
Mack Brown announced the suspensions without revealing the players' names at a press conference on Friday.

"As has been reported, we had a couple young men that broke team rules last night," Brown said. "They have been suspended from the team and will be sent home. They will not be available for the game."
Sources said McCoy and Hicks were suspended for a violating an 11 pm curfew two nights before the Alamo Bowl against Oregon State.
Mack Brown refused to answer any questions about the suspensions, including whether or not the players had a curfew this week in San Antonio.
KENS-TV in San Antonio reported Friday morning that police are investigating an accusation from a 21-year-old woman that she was sexually assaulted in her hotel room by two Texas football players between 2 am and 2:40 am Friday.
Police officials told Orangebloods.com the suspects have been interviewed and have been cooperative.
As of Friday afternoon, no arrests had been made and no charges had been filed in the case.
According to a police report, the woman said when asked what happened, "I don't exactly remember."
The police investigator detected a strong odor of alcohol on the breath of the woman, who admitted to drinking a martini, a shot of tequila, a sour apple shot as well as a vodka and Red Bull shot.
According to the police report, the woman went with the two suspects from a club to her hotel bar and "then brought both back to her hotel room."
The police report does not mention any struggle in the hotel room, just that one of the suspects engaged her in a sexual act while the other watched.
The police investigator noted a bruise on the woman's right knee and left bicep.
According to the police report, the woman was transported to the Methodist Specialty Transplant Hospital where she was seen by a SANE nurse.
