In the crazy game that is college football recruiting, there really

aren't any secrets.
Like a pack full of old ladies in a sewing circle, the news of every
single action by a college football recruit is spread around in such a
way these days that college football fans often know about a kid's
commitment before he can even mutter the words out of his mouth to make
it official.
"I have decided to commit to..."
Yeah, buddy. We already know, but thanks for trying to make it
suspenseful.
So, in an age where the Internet spreads news faster than the
imagination can make it up, Albuquerque (N.M.) La Cueva defensive end

style="font-weight: bold;">Aaron Lewis appears to have
figured out the game.
Simply put, loose lips sink ships. Therefore, with a press conference
scheduled for noon CDT on Monday, Lewis has decided that the best way to
make sure that the news is released on his terms is to simply not tell
anyone.
"It's down to Texas and Florida State," Lewis said on Sunday night. "I
told all of the other coaches at the other schools that I wasn't
considering them any more because I didn't want them to spend time
recruiting me if I wasn't considering them. Everyone will find out
tomorrow."
When Lewis says everyone, he means everyone. That includes the coaching
staffs at Texas and Florida State.
"They'll find out at 11 (MDT) tomorrow morning," Lewis said. "I haven't
called either school."
The 6-3, 265-pound Lewis has emerged as one of the hottest defensive
line prospects in the nation in recent weeks after picking up offers
from the Longhorns and Seminoles after participating in summer camps at
both schools.
If the 25 sacks he posted as a junior didn't convince everyone of his
upside at the next level, then the sight of him running sub 4.7 40-yard
dash times at almost 270 pounds surely did.
All that's left now is for Lewis to announce his decision at a press
conference at the high school Monday morning.
"I've made my decision," Lewis said without even offering so much as a
slight hint about his choice.
